Unity360 Community Dialogue for Black History of Miami Shores
Miami Shores Village is special in many ways, but the same social, economic and political forces that shaped it have been at work in towns all over the United States. South Florida People of Color's Black History Month exhibit for 2020, The Black History of Miami Shores, is meant to start a conversation about our community's shared history within the context of local, national and international events. The Unity360 Community Dialogue is a 3-hour facilitated workshop offering the opportunity for a deeper exploration of the exhibit's themes. This event is open to the public; you do not need to be a Miami Shores resident to benefit from attending. Bring an open mind and a brave heart. Snacks will be provided!
