Free Acupuncture and Meditation Instruction at the Quan Yin Medical Center in Miami Shores Offered The First Saturday of the Month

Starting  February 7th, 2015 - the first Saturday of  every month  between 4 and 6pm  - the Quan Yin Medical Center will offer free acupuncture treatments to the Community.  Treatments will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will include teachings on Oriental Medicine and meditation by Dr. Robert Gastón, OMD.

Dr. Gastón is a primary physician of Oriental Medicine. He finished his pre-med studies and  has a BS degree from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology in Earth and Planetary Science (1971).  He studied Oriental Medicine here in the US and in mainland China  (Oriental Medicine Doctor's Diploma, 1998).   He did his clinical internship at South Shore Hospital’s Ryan White Program supporting HIV patients with acupuncture and herbology and has been  in successful family practice since 1998.  Dr. Gastón has also taken Buddhist lay vows and facilitates meditation studies at Kagyu Shedrup Chöling - Miami's Kagyu Buddhist Center. 

The clinic is located downtown  Miami Shores at 217 NE 97th Street.  Anyone with chronic pain is especially encouraged to attend.  Donations are welcome.
