Bayologist Spring Camp
“Bayologists” ages 5-12 will enjoy hands-on experiences in and along the shoreline and in the classroom. Campers will learn about creatures big and small that live within the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves, using tools like microscopes to discover animals like tiny sea horses, crabs, and fish that live in seagrass and algae. On the boat, campers will learn about the birds, dolphins, manatees they may see and what makes the bay a great place for them to live. As a memento, campers will paint a flag inspired by their own personal commitment to Biscayne Bay, in honor of the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves’ 40th Anniversary.
